New Creation ministry believe in the full inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, their authority and sufficiency, as not only containing but being in themselves the very Word of God in both Old and New Testaments. We reject any suggestion that the scriptures are the word of man about God. It is on the basis of this word, that all we believe is based upon. |
We believe in the Holy trinity. That the Father Son and Holy Spirit are all coequal. We fully understand that the trinity is a mystery that can't be logically explained. However it is the clear teaching of the scripture that God is 3 in 1. All 3 persons are in their very essence God. |
We believe that Jesus is fully God and at the same time fully man. We believe that in the person of Jesus heaven and earth meet, as He is the fullness and reality of all the Old Testament shadows. We believe That God only saves those who come through faith in the person and work of His only Son Jesus. There is no other name by which man can be saved. We hold that any Jesus who is not 100% God and 100% man is not the Jesus of the scriptures. We believe that Jesus is God's Christ who was promised to Abraham and his descendants as the solution to the problem of sin and death, which resulted from mans willful rebellion against God. Jesus ultimate goal is to reconcile man to God and at last to reverse the curse by establishing God's Kingdom at His return. |
We believe in the glorious physical return of Jesus. When He comes, He comes to establish the eternal Kingdom of God. On that day the dead will be raised. The righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal damnation. We look longingly for this Day. We look for the resurrection from the dead and the world to come wherein righteousness dwells. |
We believe that the response God requires to the work of Jesus on the cross and his resurrection from the dead is that of "faith" in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We believe a man is saved only if they have a living faith in Jesus. A head knowledge of the doctrines of salvation is not saving faith. We differentiate between faith being the cause of our salvation and faith being the instrument by which salvation becomes effective to us. The cross and resurrection of Jesus is the cause of our salvation. Faith is not the cause, but instrument by which we receive all that is promised. Because of this we understand that anything man brings to God that is not the sacrifice of Christ, will be rejected concerning salvation. We reject the notion that baptism by water washes away sins. |
We believe in The person of the Holy Spirit. We believe if a person hasn't been baptized with the Holy Spirit, they can't be born again. We believe the baptism of the Spirit, to be the promise of the New covenant in Ezekiel 36. God promises to put his Spirit in man to cause man to walk in righteousness and holiness. We believe that the speaking in tongues etc, is not the sign that one has received the Spirit. Rather tongues etc are gifts of the Spirit and play no part in regeneration. The mark or sign that one has The Blessed Holy Spirit is that they trust in Christ alone. |
We believe the mark that marks out one as a fellow brother is that their confidence and faith are in Christ alone. We believe those who trust in Christ to save them persevere to the end. All those who believe only for a while were never saved, however if a man falls away and returns to Christ this is a sign that he is of Christs sheep. |
