| How then shall we live? If indeed we have become partakers of the 1st resurrection. Surely by us been raised into new Life, having been made into a New creation even the 1st fruits of the powers of the age to come. If we are partakers of these wonderful promises of the new covenant. It must be evidenced in our lives. We must show that we are the people of the world to come, where in righteousness dwells. We are the work of God, Jesus' new creation. The first fruits of the new creation of all the world, that is still to come. So since we will inherit a righteous kingdom. In everything we do, let it be done as one who is part of that kingdom. Let us put off sin and put on righteousness.!! With every temptation let us remind ourselves who we are. We are the people who will inherit Gods righteous kingdom. No evil doer will inherit this righteous kingdom is clearly taught in Galatians 6: 20-24. So as people of the new creation let us live the resurrection life. The resurrection is the renewal of all things. The resurrection of Christ is the proof of the age to come when those who have been redeemed will partake fully of the divine nature. When those who have been declared righteous by faith in Jesus the Christ will exchange mortality for immortality. Then we like Jesus will physically receive our adoption as sons. Yes we are sons through faith in his son , (Galatians: 4 ) but we will by been raised perfect and become sons in the sense of been with God where he is. Where He will be is in the new heavens & earth ruling all things from the New Jerusalem. Did you know that heaven will come down to earth and he will be our God and we will be his people. So with this hope of the world to come before us, let us live as the new people of God, in all holiness. For we have been made new creations, the 1st fruits of the new creation of all things whether in heaven or on earth. Let us live now in this present evil age the life of the age to come!!We will at last be satisfied when we get to where we belong. The new heavens and earth wherein righteousness dwells.Only those who hunger for righteousness will be satisfied by being in the New Jerusalem wherein righteousness dwells. This is the consolation for those who hunger for righteousness, they will be truly satisfied. |
